The fine grain of this cherry wood veneer runs continuously from the face of the gently curved drawers and up along the top of this early Biedermeier piece. The maple trim offers a slightly darker touch, defining the base from the light cherry grain. Each of the two locking drawers has pressed brass key plates and handles. fn/--.
