An exceptionally rare map by Ogier of Europe from Portugal to the eastern edge of the Mediteranian Sea, from the northern tip of Africa to Greenland and Norway. 20 coat of arms of the various kingdoms and duchies decorate the left and right sides of the map. Later full hand coloring of coat of arms and map. Minor edge wear to map, not effecting engraving. Earliest version that was later copied by de la Feuille and then by Baeck. 7.75 x 6 in. image, 9 x 6.25 in. with margins. Archivally framed with U.V. protected glass. vg+/--.
