The Union captured Fort Pickens in the earliest stage of the War and it remained under Union control until the end of the Civil War. This scene deipcts the gun-boat "Wyandotte," the store-ship "Supply," the frigate "Stabine," the United States Steam-sloop "Brooklyn," the gun-boat "Crusader, and the "St. Louis." Originally published in "Harper's Pictorial History of the Civil War," The Plate is 25 1/2 x 20 inches, mild foxing to the middle where the print was folded, else in very good condition. vg+/--.
